How Huckster Works
Huckster manages sourcing on your behalf, from your first request to delivery. Here is what happens at each stage.
01. Submit product requirements
Tell us what you need: a product link, a picture, a specification sheet or a description, with the quantity and destination. You receive a reference number.
02. Research suitable suppliers
We research manufacturers that can make what you need and compare the options.
03. Review quotations and options
You receive a quotation that lists each cost, what is excluded and how long it is valid. Costs we cannot confirm yet are marked as such.
04. Confirm procurement
When you approve the quotation, we confirm the order with the manufacturer on the agreed terms.
05. Coordinate production and inspection
We follow production and coordinate the quality checks agreed for your order.
06. Arrange shipping and documentation
Shipping and the export and import documents are arranged with logistics providers, according to the agreed service.
07. Reconcile the completed order
Payments, costs and documents are reconciled and the order is closed.
Timing depends on the product, the supplier and the agreed terms; payment milestones and responsibilities are set out in each quotation.

How do I request a product from China?
Use the Request a Product form at /request-product. Send us a product link, a picture, a specification sheet or simply a description, with the quantity and where it needs to go. You will receive a reference number, and we will contact you about next steps.
What information is needed for a quotation?
A clear description or specification, the quantity, the destination country and city, and any requirements such as certifications, packaging or a target price. Photos, drawings or reference links help.
Can I request a product that is not listed?
Yes. The catalogue shows examples of what we can source, not a stock list. Send us a link to a product you found elsewhere, a picture, or a description, and we will review it.
Which African destinations can Huckster serve?
Include your destination country and city in your request. We confirm in our response whether, and how, we can serve that destination for your shipment.
Do I pay through the website?
No. Payment terms and milestones are set out in each quotation, and payment instructions are provided once you accept a quotation.
